However, the name holds a double meaning: in Japanese, “toki” (時) means “time,” while “graph”, is derived from the Greek “graphein” (γράφειν), meaning “to write” or “to record.”

The Tokiograph is the spiritual successor to the Noctograph by Massena LAB and Raúl Pagès, which has been recently nominated at the 2026 Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève, where it is competing in the Petite Aiguille category.

The Tokiograph, building upon the design language of the Noctograph, is adorned with a dial with an austere, grey dial plate which has been vertically brushed and is devoid of any markings, apart from a subtle signature reading “Massena” at 4 o’clock. Depending on the light, the tone of the dial shifts gently from steel to charcoal, captivating the eye. The subsidiary seconds dial is slightly recessed and is lacquered in white and red with dark charcoal markings, creating a dimensional, textural, and tonal contrast with the brushed grey dial. Like the Noctograph before it, the Tokiograph melds contemporary minimalism with classic and historical references favored by William Massena and Massena LAB. Surrounding the dark grey dial is a chapter ring which is rhodium-plated and radially brushed. This outer section is marked with a fine, dark charcoal railroad track showing the hours and minutes, mirroring a similar motif on the small seconds dial.

A pair of polished feuille hands, in stainless steel, float above the surface in contrast to the brushed dial, casting a gentle reflection. Inspired by dress watches of the 1930s to the 1950s, the classic silhouette of the hands contrasts harmoniously with the minimalism of the dial, blending modernism with classicism.

The Tokiograph by Massena LAB and Raúl Pagès is powered by the manual winding caliber M660, our Swiss-made movement with extensive hand finishing.
