HOROLOGICAL SOCIETY OF NEW YORK

Founded in 1866 and is one of the oldest continuously operating horological associations in the world, as well as America’s first watchmaking guild. The Horological Society of New York (HSNY), based in Manhattan, regularly hosts guest lecturers and provides classes and workshops as part of its mission to make horological education accessible and enjoyable to the greater public.

In 2021, the HSNY introduced its official Chronometer Certification program. In partnership with Massena LAB, the Habring² ERWIN LAB03 was the first watch to be released with a chronometer certificate from the HSNY.

To further commemorate the partnership, the seal of the Horological Society of New York is stamped onto its movement.

The Massena LAB x Habring² ERWIN LAB03 features a bronze, engine-turned dial by J.N. Shapiro and, for the first time ever, official Chronometer Certification from the Horological Society of New York.
For the first time ever, the Massena LAB x Habring² ERWIN LAB03 has been tested and declared by the Horological Society of New York to be a Certified Chronometer.
