UNIMATIC SCALING CUBE "NASA ARTEMIS II"

The UNIMATIC "NASA Artemis II" Scaling Cube is a modern tribute to a tool traditionally used by geologists, particularly in meteorite studies. Measuring 25mm per side, it provides a clear sense of scale when photographed next to meteorite specimens. Its labeled sides (N, S, E, W) support advanced fieldwork where direction and orientation are important.

During the Apollo missions, similar scaling cubes were used to photograph the lunar surface, helping convey the size of rocks and geological features in the absence of familiar references like vegetation or manmade buildings. This practice significantly enhanced the scientific value of lunar images.
